Yes. The remaining spouse can continue to reside in the home with the full benefit of the 1983 Act, or the executor of your estate can sell the home and derive the full sale price for the estate.
The fees are fixed and in line with the Retail Price Index (RPI) so any increases or decreases will be applied during the annual pitch review.
An annual pitch fee is paid on a monthly basis. Utility charges are paid monthly or quarterly. Council tax (band A) is paid directly to the local Council Offices.
Your purchase is covered by the Mobile Homes Act 1983 which provides security of tenure and resale rights.
