Chalk Lane Park is a small residential park in quiet lane, with only 18 homes, which gives the park a nice community feel.

There is a parade of shops nearby to the park, which conveniently includes a Post Office, Chemist and Supermarket.

Chalk Park is near Gravesend Heritage town, which is famous for being a maritime gateway to the Port of London with its Thames-side ambience and charming villages and countryside. For something different, the park is also close to the famous Blue Water shopping centre, with over 300 stores to explore and 60 places to eat, and just a 15 minutes drive away.

The area has something for everyone.  Being close to the River Thames, the coast and the Kent patchwork fields, you’ll always have somewhere different to explore from your doorstep.

Things to do in Kent

Being England’s oldest county, Kent can offer trails deep into a captivating past of castles, historic houses and maritime heritage, and also offer something completely different such as exhilarating cliff top hikes, and Roman remains in a wealth of picturesque landscapes to fulfill anyone’s tastes.

London is so near, and yet feels so far away when you take the time to explore. Canterbury is said to be the jewel in Kent’s crown with a stunning Cathedral, and the famous Margate Pleasure Park is a trip down memory lane with its newly refurbished Vintage look. There are fantastic links to Belgium and France from Kent, making a day trip abroad very achievable.
